Minecraft, Horses And Donkeys.

Minecraft, Horses And Donkeys

This is a tutorial on how to tame and breed horses and donkeys within minecraft.

You can make a horse or donkey follow you by right clicking the horse or donkey with a lead.

If you then right click a fence with the lead you can attach the horse to the fence. Once attached the horse will remain stationary until you right click the fence with the lead on.

To start taming the horse right click it with an empty hand. The horse or donkey will throw you off at first but if you keep mounting it eventually it will stop. if you right click the horse with sugar it will speed up the process.

Once it's tamed hold shift and right click the horse or donkey this will open up a GUI with a slot for a saddle. Place the saddle in the slot.

Now when you ride your horse you have full control. The movement is exactly the same as your players however jumping is rather different. To jump you must hold space the bar where your Xp would usually be is your jump meter. The higher the bar the more height you will get.

(Horse in gold armour)
Much like a saddle Horse armour can be put on the horse. Just open up the horse GUI and place the horse armour in the slot.

(Horse in diamond armour)

Donkeys are the exactly the same as horses except they can't wear armour. However if you right click the donkey while holding a chest the donkey will have small chests on the side and the GUI will have 15 storage slots.

Two horses can be bred by right clicking each horse with a golden apple or golden carrots. (Note: use the golden apples which don't require 9 blocks of gold to make. ) The horses will then breed a Foal. Foals can be grown up to full horses by right clicking them with sugar.
This also works with donkeys.

Donkeys and horses can breed with each other. When this happens they produce a   mule. Mules are a cross of horses and donkeys. Mules can wear armour and have chests. mules are also faster than donkeys however mules cannot breed.
