Minecraft Skyblock 2.1 Hardcore Tutorial

In this tutorial i'm going to do something different. i am going to do a tutorial on a minecraft map!
The map i have chosen is the hardcore version of Skyblock 2.1. If you want to try out this map for your self (You should! its awesome!) Then here is the link to the site. Link To Skyblock!
To get it to work click the downloads tab on the site then paste it into your saves file in your .minecraft folder. (NOTE: if your map download is an archived file you must unzip it.)

Welcome to skyblock! You will find a chest, tree and an island in the distance.

Inside the chest is a bucket of lava and a ice block.

This tree is your only source of wood. If you don't get a sapling you are doomed...

Now dig this hole exactly like i have as otherwise it may make obsidian...

Now place down the iceblock.

Then break the ice. Broken ice produces a water source!

Then place the lava at the opposite end. Yay! you have a cobblestone generator. if you break the cobblestone it will reappear.

Now break a hole to stand in.

Great! a cobblestone generator. One thing about skyblock .... Dirt is your new best friend don't waste any of it or you wont be able to grow as many crops.

Now make a crafting table with the wood from the tree.

Then make a wooden pickaxe and start getting cobblestone about a stack should do.

Now block of the cobblestone generator.

Then trail the water down the side of the island.

You will want about 6 ladders too.

Now swim down the water and place cobble on the way down. Place about 3-4 blocks

Then stop the water and place ladders on the side. 

make sure to make a ledge at the bottom of the pillar.

Gather enough cobble to make it to the island and make a 3x3 platform. Also if your pickaxe breaks make a stone one instead.

Now start going towards the sand island.

Now build a 3x3 or more platform beneath the island.

Then tower up to the island without placing anything directly next to it. Inside the chest you will find a melon, pumpkin seed and 10 obsidian. Then collect the cactus.

Once you've got everything including the chest break one piece of sand on the bottom.

Now collect all the sand.

Put down the nether portal and make this set up (take the lava from the cobblestone generator)

Now make a hoe.

Then turn the melon into seeds.

plant the melon next to the water in the cobblestone generator.

I got a bone from a skeleton so i used it to grow the crop.

I am starving to death. That is because i didn't do all the steps fast enough.

OK now i really am starving to death and i wont be able to re-spawn because its hardcore.
