Minecraft, Getting Villagers.

Minecraft, Getting Villagers

Dig a 2 deep hole like so about 5x5 should do.
Now place a ladder on the higher grass block. The player can jump out but the zombie villagers AI means it doesn't realize it has to jump first.

Now i will go into survival and demonstrate this as i need to lure zombies.

The zombies will start attacking you and following you.

Now i have a zombie villager following me. This is what you need (Try and shoot a couple zombies before you get back to your hole)

Now jump in the hole wait a few seconds and then climb out. There will be a few zombies in the hole. Now kill the regular zombies and leave only 1 zombie villager.

Now you want to put a roof on it because otherwise it may burn or it will turn into a regular villager and a zombie will get it.

Now throw a splash potion of weakness at it and then right click it with a golden apple.

Now leave your villager for about 15 minutes. (Note: Do NOT leave the area before the villager converts otherwise the zombie will despawn and you will have to start over)

(The end product!)

So thats how to get a villager in minecraft. If you repeat this process twice and get 2 villagers you can get your own villager & or Iron farm (Heres how : http://thenextcraft.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/villiager-breeding-today-im-going-to.html ). Minecraft, NPC Villages

Minecraft NPC Villages

NPC villages are randomly spawning structure much like strongholds, mob spawners, mine-shafts and Desert temples. Unlike most structures NPC villages are home to villagers. Villagers trade with you for emeralds and in emeralds.
This is a standard NPC village it is made of many different structures.

The first thing you should look for is the blacksmiths. Blacksmiths are great because they have a chest inside and they also have furnaces and lava.

The chest inside the blacksmiths usually has Armour, iron, diamonds or food in.

You should also try and find one of these houses.

These houses have bookshelves and a crafting table. Books can be a pain to get so if you find one of these houses be sure to get the books.

There are always farms in NPC villages which usually have wheat, potatoes and carrots growing in them.

I hope you enjoyed this quick guide on NPC villages if you did please drop a +1 or comment if you think that you want to. To stay up to date follow on blogger or twitter or like the Facebook page.

Minecraft, Villager Breeding

Villiager Breeding

Today im going to teach you how to make a villager and iron farm from just 2 villagers and some basic resources.

Okay first you must make a 12x12 2 high area. This area will house your villager farm.

Now place doors like this in the square. Now your farm is ready pretty simple hey.

Now to get 2 villagers for your farm. If you already have some don't worry but if you don't have some the easiest way is to get a zombie villager trapped in a pen.

Now throw a instant damage potion at them (It must be a splash potion.)

Then click the zombie with a golden apple. BAM 1 villager!

After getting your villager into the farm leave them to bread.

The farm will spawn in iron golems in the center.

When you kill an iron golem you get free iron!

If you put a concentric square in the first square you get the golems to spawn inside the smaller square. You can make a drop to kill them and make an iron farm.

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
