Simple Redstone clock in Minecraft.
(When lamp below endstone is lit the time is night. When the lamp below the yellow clay is lit the time is day)
Thought Redstone clocks were hard? Think again I have a
Redstone clock which only requires these materials.
- 11 Redstone dust
- 1 Redstone block
- 2 Glowstone dust
- 3 Redstone repeaters
- 1 Sticky piston
- 1 Daylight sensor
The clock only takes up a 6x7 area and is only 1 block high
however you can add housing to the clock to cover the aesthetically displeasing
Redstone. Also you may want to cover it to protect it creepers and other miscellaneous destructive mobs.
This is the clock, if you build it like this it should work.
This clock will work for Minecraft 1.5- Minecraft 1.6.2 however it’s hard to
tell if it will always work as Redstone may be updated in the future. However
this definitely won’t work in versions previous to Minecraft 1.5 as before 1.5 daylight
sensors and Redstone blocks didn’t even exist.
